Elias Laurin Meyer was awarded the prize for the best dissertation in applied statistics by the Austrian Statistical Society

Elias Laurin Meyer, a PhD graduate of MedUni Vienna, was awarded this year’s Austrian Statistical Society prize for the best PhD thesis in applied statistics for his dissertation written at the Institute of Medical Statistics of the Center for Medical Data Science. His award-winning dissertation on “Designing Exploratory Platform Trials”, supervised by Assoc.Prof. Dr. Franz König and written as part of the EU-PEARL project, deals with statistical aspects of platform trials as well as their design and simulation in six published articles.
