Open position for student of statistics or related subjects

A temporary position is available at the Center for Medical Statistics, Informatics and Intelligent Systems at the Medical University of Vienna starting February 2023 (for 1 year with possibility of extension) for the nutritionDay project for 20 hours/week.

nutritionDay is a large international research project on the topic of nutrition in hospitals / nursing homes, which has been collecting data annually since 2006 by means of questionnaires. To date, data has been collected from over 280,000 participants in more than 71 countries.

Responsibilities: general supervision / processing of nutritionDay data; statistical planning, analysis and report writing on different (sub-)projects, which are processed within the framework of nutritionDay; also statistical consulting of and support for publications (incl. processing of reviews) with physicians or nutritionists (external as well as internal); independent and autonomous working style. Working in the nutritionDay project at MedUni Vienna, the new team member will benefit from working in an international benchmarking project (+71 countries) and will participate as co-author in peer-reviewed publications.
