From 7 to 8 November 2019, the Drei-Länder-Tagung of the VFWG (Association for the promotion of science in health care professions) took place at the Hochschule für Gesundheit in Bochum/Germany. The topic of the international conference for health professionals was “Applied Health Sciences - How science and practice benefit from each other”.
About 280 participants voted online (from 35 [keynote]presentations, best practice videos, and workshops) on the three contributions with the most practical relevance.
First place went to Valentin Ritschl, MSc from the Section for Outcomes Research at CeMSIIS at MedUni Vienna for his keynote lecture on “Theory-practice transfer – Evidence-based practice for health professions: attitudes, competencies, barriers, strategies”.
